TSA Lock Instructions
TSA Lock Instructions
Security is essential when traveling. With Travel Sentry® Approved locks, you can lock your suitcase and gain peace of mind knowing that your contents are secure. In the eventuality that your luggage may have to be randomly checked for security reasons, you have no reason to worry. The TSA staff has access to a bypass key which allows them to open the locks without causing damage to it.
Types of TSA Locks

THE IMPORTANCE OF A TSA LOCK
During the checked-luggage screening process at an airport, sometimes an interior inspection of luggage is warranted. If your luggage is locked with a non-TSA accepted lock, Transportation Security Administration officers are authorized to cut the lock open for interior access.
To provide an alternative to this, the TSA has worked with several companies to develop specialized locks that can be opened by airport security officers with universal keys, and this lock is one of them. Now you can travel with peace of mind knowing your belongings are secured while traveling and able to be inspected by the TSA without damage to your lock.
